Benefits backed by science

Amino Acids

Research shows that branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) activate enzymes responsible for building muscle. When taken before or after strength training, BCAAs may reduce muscle soreness following your workout. BCAAs have been shown to decrease muscle damage, and several studies show that BCAAs decrease protein breakdown during exercise and decrease levels of creatine kinase, which is an indicator of muscle damage. BCAAs may also help reduce exercise-induced fatigue.

Curcuma Complex

Curcumin is a powerful antioxidant with natural anti-inflammatory compounds. Curcumin acts to interfere and block inflammatory response pathways in the body, offering a protective effect and reducing painful inflammation.

Boswellia serrata is a herb that grows throughout the warmer climes of India. Recent studies have identified several compounds within boswellia with powerful wellness properties which research shows are particularly helpful for joint health and comfort. Research also suggests that when combined, these singularly effective supplements prove more effective, offering synergistic benefits.

Magnesium Complex

Magnesium plays a role in exercise performance. During exercise, you may need 10–20% more magnesium than when you’re resting. Studies have shown that supplementing with it can boost exercise performance for athletes, the elderly and people with chronic disease.

Why our Fitness Bundle

Amino Acids

Our amino acids is a vegan formulation free from additives and unnecessary fillers, to give you a pure capsule, with ingredients that ensure the highest bioavailability and maxumum absorption. Our dosages are optimised for maximum efficacy.

Curcuma Complex

Curcumin acts to interfere and block inflammatory response pathways in the body, offering a protective effect and reducing painful inflammation. Boswelia is particularly helpful for joint health and comfort. Research suggests that when combined, these singularly effective supplements prove more effective, offering synergistic benefits. Ginger, too, has anti-inflammatory effects and, for those suffering with joint and muscle pain, could prove to be effective. Our team combined this trio of powerful anti-inflammatories to create what we believe to be a market leading formulation.

Magnesium Complex

Our Magnesium Complex uses magnesium in glycinate form (a type of amino acid) as it is gentle on the stomach and the body finds it easier to consume the mineral in this form. We also add vitamin B6, a co-factor that also improves absorption. It also contains vitamin D3, which works synergistically with magnesium to aid muscle, bone and joint function.

Interesting Facts

What are amino acids?

Amino acids are a group of 20 organic compounds known as the ‘building blocks’ of proteins, as they play such a foundational role in many chemical reactions in your body to help maintain normal bodily functions. Amino acids are grouped into three categories; essential, non-essential; and conditional.

1. Essential Amino Acids: Your body cannot produce essential amino acids. These must be obtained by an external source, usually through food or supplementation.

2. Non-essential amino acids: Non-essential amino acids are those which your body naturally produces throughout the day.

3. Conditional amino acids: These amino acids are produced only under specific circumstances, typically when your body is fighting off an illness or dealing with stress..

What do each of the three BCAAs do?

1. Valine: Valine is one of three branched-chain amino acids, meaning it has a chain branching off to one side of its molecular structure. Valine helps stimulate muscle growth and regeneration and is involved in energy production.

2. Leucine: Like valine, leucine is a branched-chain amino acid that is critical for protein synthesis and muscle repair. It also helps regulate blood sugar levels, stimulates wound healing and produces growth hormones.

3. Isoleucine: The last of the three branched-chain amino acids, isoleucine is involved in muscle metabolism and is heavily concentrated in muscle tissue. It’s also important for immune function, hemoglobin production and energy regulation.

What's the difference between turmeric and curcumin?

Curcumin is turmeric’s main active component and most widely studied polyphenol. It’s a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent, and clinical research suggests that curcumin supports joint pain, blood lipid levels, depression symptoms and skin health – among other benefits.

What's are some of the health benefits of ginger?

Ginger is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that have powerful benefits for your body and brain. Here are some of the potential health benefits of ginger:

1. Ginger is high in gingerol, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

2. Studies suggest that relatively small amounts of ginger can help prevent various types of nausea, including morning sickness.

3. May help with weight loss.

4. Research suggests that ginger may lower blood sugar levels and improve various heart disease risk factors.

5. There’s some evidence that ginger can lead to significant reductions in LDL (bad) cholesterol.

What's are some of the symptoms of magnesium deficiency?

The most well-known symptoms of magnesium deficiency are muscle cramps, twitching, headaches, period pain, weakness and lethargy, trouble sleeping, mood swings, nausea, vomiting and anxiety.
